Drawing on Scripture, theology, history, and lived experience, this course equips Christians to understand the realities of Israel and Palestine while developing a faithful vision for justice, reconciliation, and peace rooted in the teachings of Jesus.
Through fourteen engaging lectures, participants will wrestle with questions such as:
What does biblical peacemaking look like in situations of violence and injustice?
How did the Israeli-Palestinian conflict develop, and why does its history matter?
How are Palestinian Christians responding to occupation with hope and faithfulness?
What role should the global church play in pursuing justice and reconciliation?
How can Christians become more effective peacemakers in their own communities?
The course includes occational live sessions with fellow students and the professor. Participants can access pre-recorded video lectures and readings at their own convenience.
Featuring Palestinian Christian theologians, pastors, historians, and practitioners, this course offers an opportunity to learn directly from the church in the land where Christianity began and to discover what faithful peacemaking looks like today.
